Discreet Events in Noisy Domains
Ultramono is the home of discreet events in noisy domains.
Ultramono is the framework for ongoing projects that provoke, affect, or isolate specific data-bending processes. These projects are transitory mappings of data fluxes and their oscillations and trajectories. Sometimes materialized as random locations of info-dust, or anthropomorphized data-emitters, these projects-events create temporary, playful fields.
The projects produced by Ultramono range from audio-visual works and reactive environments, to works in public spaces, allowing visitors and passers-by to participate in the pulsing and reverberations of often anthropomorphized units.
Ultramono [ exstat ] is a not-for-profit media art production and research organization founded in 2003 by Tanja Vujinovic (visual and sound artist/researcher) and Jan Kusej (producer/researcher in the fields of art, technology, and culture).
Tanja Vujinovic is a visual and sound artist. Tanja
uses custom electronics, textiles, and various software applications
to create playful experiences through dynamic works employing toy-like
objects, touch, sound, and visuals.
