Pieces from the "H Project" (drawings on paper, wall drawings, plastic bags with water, or projections of video works) were inspired by pictograms from various sources that served as the starting material for the analysis of and reflection on visual instructional messages. These works accentuated a multiplicity of notions present in the visual culture of instructional design, such as the insistence on clarity, purity, depth, sterility, and freshness. I have created site-specific installations, temporary wall drawings, paintings, and drawings on bed sheets by modifying, copying, or enlarging pictograms. In the case of the video installation "Plastika", I used plastic bags filled with water as the background for the projection.
Opis: Dela iz cikla H Projekt, kot so risbe na papirju, risbe na stenah, plastične vrečke, napolnjene z vodo, ali pa projekcije video del, so bile vse po vrsti inspirirane s piktogrami iz različnih izvorov, slednji so vedno bili izhodišče za analizo in refleksijo vizualnih sporočil. Ta dela so potencirala multitudo pojmov, ki so danes močno prisotni v vizualni kulturi grafičnega in industrijskega oblikovanja, to so insistiranje na čistosti, jasnosti, sterilnosti in svežini. Delala sem na takoimenovanih „site-specific“ delih, začasnih stenskih risbah, piktogramskih slikah in risbah na posteljnini ipd. V primeru video inštalacije “Plastika”, sem uporabila plastične vrečke, napolnjene z vodo, ki so služile kot podlaga za projekcijo videa.
